Powerlifting Super Suits Are NOT Allowed
Wrist and Knee Wraps Are Legal
Powerlifting Belts Are Legal
Chalk and Talc Powder Are Legal
The Hardcore Powerlifting Federation Does Not Conduct Any Form of Drug Testing

The Competition Squat
The Weight Must Be Walked Out and The Lifter Must Demonstrate Control Over The Burden.
The Athlete Will Receive a “Start” Command and Then They Will Squat Down Until They Break Parallel (When The Hip Joint Is Lower Than The Top Of The Knee.)
The Athlete Will Then Return To The Fully Standing Position Where They’ll Receive a “Rack” Command.
From “Start” to “Rack” The Spotter/Loaders Will Not Come in Contact With The Athlete or With The Barbell / Weights.

The Competition Deadlift
Conventional and Sumo Stances Are Both Legal.
Hitching The Barbell Up The Legs is Not Allowed.
Once The Barbell Begins Its Ascent, It Must Continue to Rise Until The Lift Is Fully Locked Out With The Athlete Standing Fully Upright.
The Competitor Will Receive a “Down” Command Once They’ve Achieved A Complete Lockout.
The Athlete Must Keep Their Hands Wrapped Around The Barbell Until It Is Returned To The Floor.

The Competition Overhead Push Jerk Press
The Athlete Must Take The Bar Out Of The Squat Rack At Upper Chest / Lower Neck Height.
Once They’ve Demonstrated Control Over The Weight, They Will Get A “Start” Command.
At That Point, They Can Use Whatever Method They Choose To Press The Barbell Overhead.
Once The Competitor Has Gotten Their Arms Fully Locked Out and Directly Overhead And They’ve Gotten Their Legs Fully Straightened Out And In The Neutral Position, They Will Receive The “Down” Command.
At That Point, The Athlete Can Either Return The Bar To The Squat Rack (Preferred) Or Carefully Drop The Barbell To The Platform.
